Applebee's Copycat Recipe
Three toasted mini buns stuffed with smoked pulled pork tossed in a tangy Southern BBQ sauce and served with pickle chip
2 lbs pork tenderloin (or 4 lbs pork shoulder)
2 tbsp sweet onion, minced
12 fl oz Dr. Pepper(1 can or bottle)
18 oz BBQ sauce (1 bottle)
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Cayenne powder to taste
8 slider buns, lightly toasted
Pierce pork with fork.
Rub pork with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Place pork and onion in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or until pork easily shreds.
Drain well and stir in BBQ sauce.
Cook for additional 1 hour.
